Nora: (Nora gathering her things and walking to the door)  I must leave now, I was never in love with you Torvald. I was in love with the thought of you.
Helmer: (Walking towards her) You don't say. Maybe cause you were always in love with Dr. Rank. That's why you're leaving. Isn't it Nora?
Nora: In love with Dr. Rank? From where do you get such a thing.
Helmer: Do you really think I'm that stupid Nora? I saw the way he was looking at you while you were dancing the Tarantella. Now tell me Nora, is this why you're leaving me? Is it to be with Dr. Rank?
Nora: Yes Torvald. I've always been in love with him. He makes me feel like a woman, something you never made me feel. He's nothing like you and that's why I must go.
Helmer: You two disgust me. You'll come running back Nora. Who will take care of you when Dr. Rank passes?
Nora: (laughing) Oh Toravlad! How naive of you. This is all a lie. Dr. Rank has been getting treatment if you must know, he will be living a long happy life with me. Am I such a feather brain now? (To the nanny) Let's go we must not waste anymore time here.
Helmer: What is this? You are not taking the children with you. You can not, I forbid you.
Nora: Haven't you already noticed, I stopped taking orders from you a long time ago. Now goodbye. (Leaving)
Act 2 of the play was sure filled with surprises. Who knew Dr. Rank was in love with Nora? I sure didn't. It's so wrong of Nora to flirt with Dr.Rank while being with Helmer. I'm sure she's just getting tired of the intolerable names Toravald calls her and she wants to get treated like a woman, not a child. That shows how much Helmer really knows her. The thought of Nora being unfaithful to him probably never even crossed his mind. To him she's like a child, she'll never do anything to disobey him. Helmer always acting so jauntily, thinking he has such power over Nora. Little does he know that Nora has been doing behind his back.
Krogstad has sent a letter to Helmer explaining to him about what Nora has done. Nora tried everything to distract Helmer from going to the letter box. She even told him that shes forgotten how to dance the Tarantella. Will Helmer ever find about about her secret? Nora at the end of the play plans to take her life after midnight. Will she? Is that really the right choice? What do you guys think?

The play so far has been very interesting and entertaining. In Act 1 of a Dollhouse we learned that Nora and her husband, Torvald, have a rather odd relationship. Torvald looks down on Nora and treats her like a child. With phrases like,"Has my little feather brain been out wasting money again?" If you ask me, most most husbands don't call their wives "feather brain." On the other hand. Nora seems to enjoy spending Torvald's money frivolously and has no problem lying to husband. If I were Nora, I would come clean and tell Torvald my secret. I mean, it was to save his life I think he'll understand. Maybe together they'll find a way to pay back all the money and wont have to deal with Krogstad, who is blackmailing Nora.
Honesty is the the best policy. If Nora just shows Torvald how vehemently sorry she is for lying and keeping such a secret from him, he might be forgiving. This way she won't have to stay away from the children or won't corrupt them in any way. I believe the children shouldn't suffer for their parents actions. On a different matter, what's up with Mrs. Linde and Krogstad? They have some sort of secret too? I guess we will just have to wait and find out. Can't wait to read more and find out all their juicy secret. Don't you?
